On May 7th, local time on the evening of the 6th, according to Israeli media reports, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a conference call with members of the Israeli wartime cabinet to discuss Hamas' latest response to the ceasefire agreement. After the meeting and consultation, the Israeli wartime cabinet unanimously decided to continue to take military action against Rafah in order to put military pressure on Hamas and promote the release of Israeli detainees and other related goals. At the same time, Israel believes that although the draft agreement agreed by Hamas is far from meeting Israel's requirements, Israel will still send a delegation to participate in the relevant ceasefire negotiations. At present, this news has not been officially confirmed by Israel. On the evening of the 6th, Hamas leaders told the media that Hamas had informed Qatar and Egypt, the mediators of the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip, that they had agreed to accept the ceasefire plan proposed by the mediators.
