According to the TASS news agency, Evgeny Morozov, a member of the Russian Social Council, has proposed the establishment of a national crypto bank similar to Belarus. This would help bring shadow settlements worth hundreds of billions of rubles into the legal framework, increase federal budget revenues, and combat remote fraud and criminal financing. Crypto banks could also provide Russian miners with a compliance channel for selling mining proceeds.
At present, Belarus has established crypto exchanges and brokers in high-tech parks to decriminalize digital currencies and increase tax revenue.
