According to SEC filings, the Nasdaq exchange has submitted a proposal to the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) to amend the rules related to the iShares Ethereum Trust to allow the trust's holdings of Ethereum to be pledged. The SEC has decided to extend the review period and will approve, reject or initiate further review procedures on the proposal by October 30 at the latest.
