ECB could cut interest rates by 25 basis points in December

Natixis analysts Alain Durre and Hadrien Camatte said in a report that the ECB's final 25 basis point rate cut in December is still possible, provided that the labor market slows more severely than expected and inflation falls sharply below target due to lower energy prices and further appreciation of the euro. Analysts said there is a 60% chance that the ECB will make a final rate cut at its December meeting, when the end point deposit rate will be 1.75%.
