Nvidia said it planned to launch a new product designed to handle complex tasks such as video generation and software development, as the company's chips and systems are at the heart of the artificial intelligence computing boom. Nvidia said the product, called the Rubin CPX, would be available by the end of 2026. It would take the form of a card that could be embedded in existing server computer designs or used in standalone computers that could run in parallel with other hardware in a data center. The chipmaker said the design was a spinoff of a new Rubin product line to be launched next year and could make certain types of artificial intelligence work more efficient.
