Standard Chartered: Pilot Bank-to-Wallet Payment Solution in Partnership with Ant International

Standard Chartered announced on September 9 that Ant International and Standard Chartered have conducted an end-to-end production trial of a bank-to-wallet payment solution based on the ISO 20022 financial messaging standard, leveraging the Swift infrastructure. The first transaction between Standard Chartered customer accounts and partner e-wallets has been successfully completed through Alipay +, Ant International's global wallet gateway service. The solution enables the interconnection of 1.70 billion user accounts of 36 global digital wallets in the Alipay + ecosystem, which will significantly simplify global remittances.
