美国财政部宣布制裁10个柬埔寨实体，指控其强迫被贩卖者进行虚拟货币投资诈骗活动，并表示诈骗团伙利用债役、暴力和强迫卖淫威胁，胁迫个人通过即时通讯应用或直接向潜在受害者的手机发送短信，对陌生人进行网上诈骗，据悉去年美国人因源自东南亚的诈骗活动损失超过100亿美元。
