Canaan Inc. (NASDAQ: CAN) has released an update on bitcoin mining as of August 31, 2025:98 bitcoins were mined in the month, and the total number of self-owned bitcoins reached 1,547 at the end of the month; 8.6EH/s of computing power has been deployed worldwide, and the total computing power is expected to exceed 10EH/s. North American mining machine energy efficiency has dropped below 20J/TH for the first time, and the average power cost is 0.042 USD/kWh. The company expands its own mining farms in the United States and continues to deploy in South East Asia and Ethiopia. At the same time, Canaan is improving its mining machine infrastructure and financing convenience through partnerships with Bitfury and Luxor.
