The Dow rose 0.07%, the S & P 500 rose 0.26%, and the Nasdaq rose 0.49%. Baidu (BIDU. O) rose more than 7%, and Robinhood (HOOD. O) rose about 9%. The gold sector rose generally, with Harmony Gold (HMY. N) rising nearly 4% and Jintian (GFI. N) rising 3.2%.
