According to NFT tracker CryptoSlam, NFT sales fell to $91.96 million in the first week of September, marking the lowest weekly sales since mid-June. NFT sales fell last week after NFTs maintained strong growth momentum throughout July and August. In the past eight weeks, NFT weekly sales have never fallen below $115 million, showing strong growth momentum. From July 21 to 27, weekly sales of digital collectibles reached $170 million. This is the third highest weekly sales of digital collectibles this year after a single-week high of more than $170 million set in mid-January. Last week's slump in NFTs brought sales back to levels close to those seen on June 16-22, when sales fell to a low of $90 million. The number of independent NFT buyers has dropped 58% since mid-June.
