Lee Kwang-jae, a former National Assembly secretary and Distinguished Professor at Myongji University, said South Korea should ensure that Korean won-denominated stablecoins can be traded on global exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase, and allow foreign investors to participate on local platforms such as Upbit and Bithumb to enhance international versatility.
