On September 8th, the Arbiturm ecosystem modular trading platform Kinto suffered a smart contract attack in July, losing about $1.55 million in 577 ETH. Kinto announced that it will be closed on September 30th.
Its founder, Recuero, has promised to compensate some of the hacking victims after Kinto is shut down. According to Recuero, all remaining foundation assets will be returned to the "Phoenix" program's lenders, who will recover 76% of the loan principal. Recuero has also pledged $55,000 in personal funds to compensate victims of hacks on the Morpho platform, up to $1,100 per address.
