Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, said in a post on the X platform that the Ethereum team has been performing very well this year, contributing in all aspects to ensure the long-term scalability, decentralization and resiliency of Ethereum, all of which are expected to be ready for implementation while the short-term scaling roadmap achieves its key milestones. According to Vitalik Buterin's retweet, the current Ethereum developers have proposed a minimal zkVM "leanVM" suitable for streamlining Ethereum, and optimized for XMSS aggregation and recursion. Compared to Cairo, leanVM minimizes commitment costs with a four-instruction ISA, multi-linear STARK, and logup * lookup.
