On September 6th, the official of World Liberty Fi, the Trump family crypto project, posted on social media that its team has paid attention to the community's concerns about the recent wallet blacklist. The first principle is transparency, that is, WLFI only intervenes when protecting users and never interferes with normal activities. A total of 272 wallets have been blacklisted in the past few days, accounting for a very small proportion of the total number of holders. This move is purely a temporary measure to prevent damage and assist affected users during the investigation. Of these 272 addresses:
215 (approximately 79.0%) were related to phishing attacks - teams actively intervened to prevent hackers from transferring funds and were working with the rightful owner to secure/transfer assets
50 (approximately 18.4%) were reported stolen by owners through support channels, and teams implemented blacklist protection upon request
The WLFI team never actively seeks to ban any account and only takes action when it detects malicious or high-risk activity that could harm members of the community. User safety comes first. The team will never ban accounts for normal market participation.
