Trump Media Completes 684 million CRO Token Acquisition Worth About $178 million

On September 5, 2025, Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT) announced the completion of the transaction with Crypto.com to acquire 684.40 million Cronos (CRO) tokens at a price of about $0.15 each, in a 50% cash and 50% stock exchange, valued at about $178 million, accounting for about 2% of the CRO circulation supply. This cooperation will promote the integration of CRO into the reward system of Truth Social and Truth + platforms, and provide institutional-level custody by Crypto.com. Previously, Trump Media also established Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, which plans to create a CRO-centric digital asset treasury company through a merger with Yorkville Acquisition Corp.
