On May 6th, BitTap, a Taproot Assets infrastructure building project, has completed a pre-seed round of financing led by Waterdrip Capital. The funds will be used to develop a decentralized trading platform and a non-custodial wallet based on the Taproot Assets protocol. The BitTap plug-in wallet is the first decentralized wallet in the field of TaprootAssets protocol, and its alpha version test is expected to start in May.
The team is dedicated to building the Taproot Assets ecosystem and promoting compatibility with Bitcoin's Lightning Network and Bitcoin's main network. It has been officially supported by Lightning Labs and aims to achieve one-click issuance and management of Bitcoin native assets based on the Taproot Assets protocol.
