President Donald Trump said "pretty substantial" tariffs on semiconductors were on the horizon. Mr. Trump made the comments while answering questions from reporters at a dinner with tech leaders at the White House. He said he discussed the tariffs with some of the tech leaders who attended the dinner. He reiterated that he would impose tariffs on companies that do not enter the United States. Mr. Trump said Apple CEO Tim Cook would be in good shape if the tariffs were implemented.
