Christopher Harborne, known as Chakrit Sakunkrit in Thailand, is a shareholder in Bitfinex and Tether, and has become the number one donor to Nigel Farage, the leader of the Reform Party and a Clacton MP. Harborne, who also runs an aviation fuel business, has been exposed as the number one donor to the Brexit Party and donated £1.50 million to the Conservative Party in 2022.
According to the UK Electoral Commission, Harborn's most recent donation to Farage was a trip worth £27,616, enabling him to "attend Donald Trump's second inauguration". The gift makes him Farage's number one donor in 2025, the only one close to that amount being a trip donated by George Cottrell, a convicted criminal.
Last year, Mr. Harborn also gave £32,000 to Mr. Farage to visit Mr. Trump, who was shot at a Pennsylvania rally. In the past year, Mr. Harborn's donations to Mr. Farage have totalled nearly £60,000.
