U.S. stocks close: Three major stock indexes close up Alibaba falls 4%

September 5 news, U.S. stocks closed on Thursday, the Dow preliminary closed up 0.77%, the S & P 500 index rose 0.83%, the Nasdaq rose 0.98%. Intel (INTC. O) rose more than 2%, C3.ai (AI. N) fell more than 7%, Tesla (TSLA. O) rose 1%. Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 1.1%, Alibaba (BABA. N) fell 4%, NIO (NIO. N) fell 3%.
