OpenAI to launch AI-empowered recruitment platform next year

OpenAI, the artificial intelligence company, has announced that it will launch an AI-driven recruitment platform next year to connect employers with job seekers with AI skills, as well as a programme to train certified 10 million Americans by 2030. Walmart will offer the certification free of charge to its 1.60 million US employees. Unveiled at the White House artificial intelligence education conference, the plan will put OpenAI in more direct competition with LinkedIn, while addressing the risk of disruptive changes in the labour market. Feggy Seamus, chief executive of OpenAI, said the programme was designed to help workers adapt to change, validate skills through a certification system and support new job opportunities.
