Putin says he will respond to China's trial visa exemption for Russia

On September 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on September 4 that it is of great significance for China to pilot a visa-free policy for Russian citizens. Russia thanks Chinese leaders and will respond. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on September 2 that China has decided to expand the scope of visa-free countries, from September 15, 2025 to September 14, 2026, to pilot a visa-free policy for ordinary Russian passport holders.
