Anchorage Digital, the only federally chartered cryptocurrency bank in the US, has launched custody and staking services for its native token STRK. The move makes Anchorage the first qualified custodian to provide institutional staking services for Starknet, the Layer 2 network.
According to a September 3 announcement, the new service allows institutions to securely pledge STRK through Anchorage Digital Bank in the United States, Anchorage Digital Singapore, or Porto, the platform's self-custodial wallet.
Participants can contribute to cyber security while earning benefits. Currently, the pledge program offers an estimated annualized rate of return (APR) of 7.28%.
