On September 3, Bitcoin DeFi protocol Lombard Finance completed the public offering of its Bard token, raising $94.70 million. The original financing target was 6.75 million dollars, but the actual subscription exceeded the target by 1400%.
BARD will serve as a governance token for Lombard's Bitcoin DeFi protocol. Lombard said it will use the additional funds to develop products and expand the ecosystem, while hoping to attract more users to its ecosystem by adding Bitcoin DeFi features.
