OCBC: If the non-agricultural sector is revised down sharply, it may suppress the dollar

Frances Cheung and Christopher Wong, foreign exchange analysts at OCBC, noted that the dollar was higher but the broader range of volatility remained limited to recent levels. The market is still waiting for the results of two key data: the non-farm payrolls data released on Friday, and the preliminary benchmark revision of agency surveys released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics next Wednesday. A weak preliminary revision could change the current market view on the labour market and weigh on the dollar.
