Eric Peters, chief investment officer at Coinbase Asset Management, said that the actual holdings of bitcoin in Middle Eastern countries may be much higher than publicly disclosed levels, and some countries are including cryptoassets in reserves alongside commodities such as gold or promoting "new monetary standards". He said that large funds are currently reluctant to buy in the 100,000-120,000 dollar range, or even fall below the 85,000 dollar will still wait and see, but this means that the future may be concentrated at higher prices, stronger narratives and better infrastructure. Peters also pointed out that the United States is already exploring the establishment of "strategic digital asset reserves" (including tokens such as bitcoin), which together with the adoption of the Middle East will be a catalyst for attracting large institutions to enter the market.
