On May 6th, the total amount of financing in the crypto market reached 1.02 billion US dollars in April, involving 161 financings, a slight decrease from 186 investments totaling 1.09 billion US dollars in March. But cryptocurrency venture capital has exceeded 1 billion US dollars for the second consecutive month this year, the first time in the industry since the end of 2022.
The most notable financings include a $47 million investment in asset tokenization firm Securitize, led by BlackRock, and a hefty $225 million investment in "Solana killer" Layer1 blockchain Monad, backed by Paradigm and Coinbase Ventures. Additionally, teams at blockchain infrastructure startup Auradine and Cosmos-based Layer1 blockchain Berachain also received $80 million and $100 million, respectively.
