According to Techinasia, Japanese-listed company Metaplanet will hold a shareholder meeting in Tokyo on September 1 to vote on plans to sell up to 550 million new shares overseas, aiming to raise about $884 million. The company plans to use most of the funds to buy more bitcoin.
