Economist Peter Schiff posted on social media that the price of gold has reached an all-time high near $3,460, while silver has broken through the $40 mark and is trading near $40.20.
Schiff said that when the U.S. market opens on Tuesday, the prices of the two precious metals could rise further, while bitcoin could move in the opposite direction.
