On August 31st, the Ethereum Community Foundation announced that it will tokenize the destroyed ETH into BETH, providing a new proof-of-destruction token for Ethereum. Each BETH token represents the ETH that has been verified out of circulation to establish a transparent and auditable record of destruction.
