On May 6th, the L2 network Mode built on OPStack launched Season 2 yesterday and will continue until September 6th, 2024. The Season 2 airdrop has allocated 500 million MODE tokens (5% of the total supply) and will provide up to 1 million OP tokens through various incentive activities. In addition, new assets such as Velodrome, Balancer and many more applications, Ethena's USDe and sUSDe, and MODE pledges will be introduced, allowing users to participate in the acquisition of point multipliers and ecosystem airdrops.
Gold Finance previously reported that Mode will launch the governance token MODE on May 7. The total supply is 10 billion, of which 5.5% is dedicated to the first of two user airdrops. The second airdrop will run from May 5 to September 6, when 500 million more tokens will be issued.
