Circle has no plans to issue a Korean won stablecoin

In the past week, Circle President Heath Tarbert visited South Korea and held talks with the Bank of Korea and the country's four largest commercial banks (Kookmin Bank, Shinhan Bank, Hana Bank and Woori Bank). Several media reported that Circle has no intention of participating in the issuance of the Korean won stablecoin. Mr. Tarbert aims to explore how banks can use their USDC tokens.
