"I would encourage Chairperson Powell to conduct an internal review before doing an external review," Bescent said in an interview with Fox Business. "It's a matter that needs to be addressed," he said, referring to the Cook affair. "We didn't hear her say'I didn't do it, 'she just kept saying that the president can't remove her," Bescent said.
