Trump: Meta to invest up to $50 billion in Louisiana data center

Mr. Trump said on Tuesday that Meta would invest $50 billion in a giant data center in rural Louisiana, and he was shocked by the cost of the project. "When they say a factory costs $50 billion, I ask, 'What kind of factory is this?'" Mr. Trump said, showing a chart he said was given to him by Meta's chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, showing a comparison of the data center to Manhattan to demonstrate its size.
