On August 24th, Linea officially issued a statement saying that the Status Network combines native ETH income, stablecoin income, and commissions for native application fees to provide LINEA token income cultivation for the first time. Users can deposit LINEA and SNT tokens to receive LINEA token income increases.
Previously, on August 20, 2024, Status is working with Linea, which is supported by Consensys, to launch a Layer 2 rollup solution. The two parties are jointly developing a Layer 2 network that will run in parallel with Linea's zkEVM chain, called the Status Network. Contributors to Status will interact with Linea's open-source code and actively participate in the management of its codebase to maintain a parallel version.
