South Korea's top five exchanges hold more than 10,000 1 billion won assets

As of August 5, the number of investors holding more than 1 billion won (about $710,000) in virtual assets in the five major Korean won exchanges reached 10,810, and the per capita holdings reached 2.229 billion won (about $1.59 million). This figure is far more than 200 times the per capita holdings of 10,866,371 users in the five major exchanges (10.27 million won).
Of the people who hold more than 1 billion won in virtual assets, 76% (8,242 people) are Upbit users. Looking at all age groups, the number of people who hold more than 1 billion won in virtual assets is the most in their 50s (3994 people), followed by those in their 40s (3086 people), those over 60 (2426 people), and those in their 30s (1167 people). Although the number of people in the 20s is only 137, which is less than other age groups, the per capita holdings are as high as 2.68871 billion won, which is significantly higher than other age groups.
