Authorities across Africa have arrested more than 1,200 suspects and seized nearly $100 million in a massive cybercrime operation that took down online fraud networks and illegal cryptocurrency mining operations, the International Criminal Police Organisation announced on August 22.
Meanwhile, investigators discovered 11,432 malicious infrastructures linked to ransomware, business email leak schemes, and online investment fraud.
