On August 23rd, local time on August 22nd, Canadian Prime Minister Carney announced at a press conference in the capital Ottawa that Canada has decided to cancel a number of retaliatory tariffs on US goods, but tariffs on US cars, steel and aluminum will be temporarily maintained.
