All three major U.S. stock indexes closed down slightly

The three major U.S. stock indexes all ended slightly lower. The S & P 500 index fell 0.4%, the Dow index fell 0.34%, and the Nasdaq index fell 0.34%. Most large technology stocks fell, Tesla and Meta fell more than 1%, Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Netflix, Amazon, AMD, Intel fell slightly; Google rose slightly.
