Kerberus has announced the acquisition of Refract, the developer of the fraud protection browser extension Pocket Universe, for a seven-figure sum. Following the acquisition, Kerberus plans to integrate Pocket Universe with its security extension Sentinel3 and extend protection to all Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains and the Solana network.
Alex Katz, CEO of the company, said that they are developing the industry's first dedicated cryptocurrency antivirus software to solve the biggest security threat today - malicious software attacks.
