Paul Atkins, chairperson of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), said in a statement that the SEC has opened an account on Truth Social, a social media platform founded by Trump.
Trump announced in October 2021 the creation of Truth Social, a social platform developed by Trump Media and Technology Group, to challenge mainstream social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter that have blocked Trump.
