Institutional investors have disclosed their holdings in Bitcoin ETFs in the Securities Exchange Commission's (SEC) 13F report, revealing their interest in the crypto asset.
So far, BNY Mellon and BNP Paribas are the first two institutions to disclose their holdings of bitcoin ETFs, with relatively small holdings but attracting market attention. Other institutions such as Pittsburgh-based Quattro Advisors and Legacy Wealth Management have also shown larger holdings, with Quattro Advisors holding more than 468,000 shares in the Blackstone ETF.
In addition, analysts have pointed out that more larger institutions are likely to submit reports before the deadline, and investor interest in bitcoin ETFs is expected to continue to increase.
