Syz Capital plans to restart Bitcoin Alpha fund and raise $200 million

Syz Capital, a Swiss cryptocurrency-focused alternative investment firm, has announced that it is restarting its Bitcoin Alpha fund and plans to raise $200 million in bitcoin. It is reported that the fund has raised about 1,800 bitcoins, with a target of 2,000 bitcoins. The current tentative restart date is October 1, 2025. Syz Capital currently has assets under management of about $2 billion, and the proposed Bitcoin Alpha fund will be open to investors who hold bitcoin and want to use it for market-neutral strategies.
