Compass Mining Partners with Onmine to Launch 10 trillion-Watt Bitcoin Farm in Texas

Crypto miner Compass Mining has partnered with Onmine to launch a 10 trillion-watt bitcoin mine in Texas. In an announcement on Tuesday, Compass said the mine will come online in phases and be fully operational by the end of July. This is the first time Compass has taken on the risk of day-to-day operations, revenue sharing and electricity prices. The company said it initially deployed its own miners to verify performance before starting to bring in customers. It plans to use all 10 trillion watts for enterprise-grade escrow by October.
