MakerDAO said on the X platform that it will launch two new tokens: NewStable and NewGovToken.
MKR holders will be able to upgrade their tokens to NewGovToken, a new governance token within the ecosystem. The total supply of NewGovToken has been strategically realigned compared to MKR. During the upgrade, each MKR will be converted into 24,000 NewGovTokens. Designed to facilitate wider governance participation.
