August 20 news, U.S. stocks closed Tuesday, the Dow rose slightly, the S & P 500 index fell 0.58%, the Nasdaq fell 1.46%. Intel (INTC. O) rose 6.97%, NVIDIA (NVDA. O) fell more than 3%, Meta Platforms (META. O) fell 2%. Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 0.9%, NIO (NIO. N), XPeng Motors (XPEV. N) were up 4%.
