Ethereum treasury and crypto mining company BitMine (BMNR) today announced that its cryptocurrency holdings have exceeded $6.612 billion. As of 11:59 p.m. ET on August 17, the company's cryptocurrency holdings consisted of 1,523,373 Ethereum (ETH, at $4,326 per unit according to Bloomberg data), 192 Bitcoin (BTC), and $80 million in unsecured cash.
Currently, bitcoin mining-leaked cryptocurrency holdings rank first in the world in the ranking of Ethereum holdings and second in the global ranking of total cryptocurrency holdings, just behind Strategy, which holds 628,946 bitcoins and is valued at $74 billion.
