Ukraine offers to buy $100 billion of US weapons in exchange for security guarantees

As part of the deal, Ukraine will commit to buying $100 billion worth of U.S. weapons with European funding, with the aim of securing U.S. guarantees for Ukraine's security after a peace deal with Russia, a document shows. Under the proposals, Kiev and Washington would also strike a $50 billion deal to work with Ukrainian companies to produce drones.
