ChatGPT mobile app has generated $2 billion in revenue

New analysis from app intelligence provider Appfigures shows that ChatGPT's iOS and Android apps have generated $2 billion in global revenue since its launch in May 2023. The analysis shows that this figure is about 30 times the total revenue of ChatGPT's competitors (including Claude, Copilot and Grok) on mobile end. The data shows that ChatGPT's mobile app has achieved $1.35 billion in revenue so far this year, up 673% year-on-year from $174 million in the same period of 2024 (January to July). The app's average monthly revenue is close to $193 million, up from $25 million last year.
