On-chain data shows that an early Ethereum investor moved 334.7 ETH worth nearly $1.50 million for the first time after more than a decade of silence.
The money, originally discovered by Lookonchain, was purchased for just $104 during the 2014 Ethereum initial coin offering (ICO). Before transferring most of the money, the investor made a small test transfer to a new wallet with no historical activity.
If realized at the current market price, this transfer represents a return of 14,000 times. This original wallet has not had any activity since the ICO. Ethereum's ICO raised a total of $18 million and went live in July 2015.
