Expert: The United States should use its tariff surplus to fund its bitcoin strategic reserve

According to Adam Livingston, author of The Bitcoin Age and the Harvest, the US government could buy more bitcoins for the US strategic reserve by using some of the tariff surplus to buy bitcoins. He suggests taking a monthly share of the surplus generated by trade tariffs and turning it into safe cold storage bitcoins that will not be traded, pledged, sold, remortgaged, used to fund projects or secure loans, or borrowed for proceeds.
